Kalyanam Karoti, the charitable
organization in Meerut, India believes in result
oriented work. We have a purpose, to remove blindness
among the poor and alleviate physical disability.
We have shown tremendous improvement in our specified
field.
Eye Operations and O.P.D
In the sphere of eye operations, the number of cases of OPD has shown a leap from a mere 11209 cases in 2002-2003 to a 20054 in 2004-2005. Same kind of difference is noted for the number of operations, which has increased from 1449 cases in 2002-2003 to 2006 in 2004-2005.
Even our help to the handicapped has shown a marvelous
improvement. This has been the result of the great
response from people all over U.P. In the year
2000-2001, 242 patients benefited from us. In
the year 2002-2003, the number changed to 2325.
The statistics is given below: Our help to the differently abled has shown considerable response over the last few years. In 2002-2003, the number of patients was 2325, which increased to 2494 in 2003-2004.
Our camps in the rural areas have also given result.
In the year 2004-2005, 25 camps were held where
6624 O.P.D and 833 operations were carried out.
Some of the areas that we extensively covered were
Mawana, Mehlka, Berampur, Kharkhoda, Sakoti, Paharpur,
Kurali and many more. The response was great. Once
again, people's faith in us was reinforced.
